How long do helium balloons last for?

An 11” latex balloon has a float time of between 12-16 hours, we can add Hi Float to your balloons to prolong their life for up to a week for an additional charge of £0.50 per balloon.

Foils balloons can last for up to a week and bubble balloons have been known to last for up to a month.

 

How long does it take to set up?

On average this should take about 40 minutes to set up a balloon arch, but it is dependant on what style you have and the location of the venue, if there is stairs to the venue etc.

Is there an additional charge for set up costs?

If you are having an arch we will of course include the set up time in the cost, however if you are having single balloons and want us to tie them to the backs of chairs this will incur an additional charge, also if we are required to walk quite a way to the venue or the venue is up stairs this may also incur an additional charge as the time to setup will be increased.

Is delivery free?

We offer free local delivery for orders over £100, however if you require delivery outside of local delivery post codes then an additional delivery charge may apply. There could also be additional charges if there are parking charges and congestion charges and also in ultra low emission zones charges(ULEZ), these charges will be added onto your final quote.

Can I put balloon displays outside?

If you are going to put balloon displays outside it is advisable to make us aware of this when booking. Some displays will not be suitable for outside use and a heavier stand and arch frame will be required.

Are you insured?

Public Liability Insurance is not a legal requirement so it is always best to check with the supplier. We have Public Liability Insurance for up to 5 million. We are also a member of NABAS.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes a deposit of 25% will be taken at the time of booking to secure the date and time, once the deposit is received the balloons for you event will be ordered. The balance will be due to be paid in full 7 days prior to the event.  A security deposit maybe required if a frame for an arch or column is supplied and will be refunded fully as long as the frame/stands are returned in the same condition. If your booking is made with less than 7 days away to the event, full payment will be required.

How much notice to I need to give you for my booking?

Little Bananas is very proud that we do keep a lot of stock and because of this we are normally able to accommodate bookings on the same or next day, however if we do need to order in stock for your booking we can get next day delivery as long as the item is ordered before 2pm, an additional charge may apply to cover the next day delivery charges.

Do you deliver upstairs?

We can deliver upstairs but you will need to inform us of this at the time of booking, failure to do so may result in your balloons not be delivered on time if there is a lot to deliver, or worse unable to be delivered in the case of a framed arch, we can do upstairs but we will then not put the arch together until we are in the venue room.

What happens if the equipment gets damaged while it is in use?

When our equipment is dropped off it would be in perfect order, clean and free from any damage. If on collection the items are not in the same condition then the amount to cover any damage will be taken from your security deposit.

Do you deliver upstairs?

We can deliver upstairs but you will need to inform us of this at the time of booking, failure to do so may result in your equipment not be delivered on time.

Do you do balloon releases?

Little Bananas does NOT support balloon releases, we will therefore NOT supply balloons for this purpose.

What areas do you deliver free to?

We offer free delivery to the following Post Codes if the minimum spend of £80 is met.

• SE3, SE4, SE6, SE7, SE8, SE9, SE10, SE12, SE13, SE14, SE18, SE20.
• BR1, BR2, BR3, BR4.
• DA14, DA5, DA7, DA16.

What if I do not live in one of the above Post Codes, will you still deliver to me?

We can deliver outside of these postcodes, however a small additional charge may apply.
