Frequently Asked Questions
Can the equipment go on a hard surface?
Yes, but let us know beforehand if it is going to be in or outside, also if it is hard surface or grass. This is so we can ensure we provide the correct amount of safely matting required.
How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?
16ft x 20ft for a 12ft x 12ft castle.
How long does the equipment take to set up and put away?
on average this should take about 40 minutes but this will depend on what package you order.
What if it rains, can we cancel?
Our castles have a built in rain cover, and most of the garden items can be easily wiped down if it’s just shower. If the forecast is rain all day and you want to rearrange this can be discussed but will be subject to availability. If you are unsure of the weather it may be better to hire a hall just to be on the safe side.
Are you insured?
Public Liability Insurance is not a legal requirement so it is always best to check with the supplier. We have Public Liability Insurance for up to 5 million. We are also a member of the BIHA.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes a deposit will be taken at the time of booking to secure your package for that date, the balance will be due to be paid in full 7 days prior to the event. A security deposit of £50 cash will be taken on delivery of your equipment, this will be fully refunded as long as all the equipment is in the same condition as when delivered to you.
Are you drivers CRB checked?
Yes, all our staff are DBS checked (this is the new CRB).
How long is the hire period for?
The hire period is for 4 hours, however if you required the equipment for longer you can extend this at a cost of just £20 per hour thereafter.
How many children can use the bouncy castle at the same time?
The bouncy castles can hold up to 6 to 9 children, depending on the size and age of the children.
What happens if the equipment gets damaged while it is in use?
When our equipment is dropped off it would be in perfect order, clean and free from any damage. If on collection the items are not in the same condition then the amount to cover any damage will be taken from your security deposit.
Do you deliver upstairs?
We can deliver upstairs but you will need to inform us of this at the time of booking, failure to do so may result in your equipment not be delivered on time.
Can we move the soft play equipment provided?
It’s important that you plan exactly where the equipment is going to go when it is delivered. The equipment must not be moved once it has been set up, this is for insurance and safety reasons.
Do we supply safety mats?
If the Soft Play Equipment is going to be put on a hard surface or held in a hall then sufficient safety matting will be supplied.
